Your first visit will usually include a consultation similar to that of visiting your GP in a private consultation room, where you can discuss your health concerns and the reason for your visit.

Acupuncture is safe to use during IVF and does not cause any problems with IVF medications.

Acupuncture performed by a registered acupuncturist is a safe adjunct treatment. For any herbal medicine, please discuss with the practitioner for what other IVF medications you may be taking.

Acupuncture needles are very thin and isn't like needles used for injections or blood tests. Usually the treatment is conducted with the patient lying down, and many people choose to do acupuncture purely for stress control or for general maintenance of health through the balance of the body's qi (chi).
